Create Your Legendary North Dakota RV Adventure

Your North Dakota RV extravaganza starts right here with numerous scenic drives, festivals, attractions and the campsites you need.

North Dakota offers 350 miles of scenic byways and backways leading to some of our favorite "hidden gems." Create your legendary adventure by way of national park sites, state parks, city and county campgrounds, prairies, Badlands, grasslands and valleys. How about discovering a museum made out of rock; or hike into a petrified forest; or discover a young Teddy Roosevelt's cabin.

When it's time to park, you'll find great campgrounds and sites throughout the state and there are 13 state parks with hundreds of electrical and primitive sites. Park the RV and jump off-highway to the popular Maah Daah Hey and its 144 miles of non-motorized trail for hiking, biking and horseback riding.

North Dakota has 63 national wildlife refuges - more than any other state - encompassing more than 290,000 acres and 11 wetland management districts with more than 254,000 acres of waterfowl production areas. We are considered a "birding hot spot" and photographer's dream with more than 390 species gracing these habitats.

Make your experience as memorable as Theodore Roosevelt's. Visit our campgrounds, state parks, national park, historical attractions, festivals and special events, powwows and rodeos. Taste our ethnic foods, restaurants and fine dining. And when the day is over, retire to the comforts of your RV.
