Moraine Loop

The trail starts south of the parking areas just outside the Visitor Center and loops through native prairie before meeting the Lake View Trail at a signed junction. As hikers travel up and over the rocky moraine, they can clearly see the shape of the landscape carved out by a glacier. The trail offers excellent views of Beaver Lake and provides great opportunities for bird and butterfly watching.
