The Wimbledon Community Museum has four buildings which house cultural artifacts from the early homestead days of eastern North Dakota. You can walk into another world by stepping into the museum buildings.

The Midland Continental Depot building is like stepping back in time. You can hold a piece of railroad history as you walk through the original depot building and rail car which is located just outside the front door of the building. Peggy Lee and her father worked and lived in the depot from 1934 to 1937.

Wimbledon residents have many stories to tell about life when the depot was alive and moving people and products on the rails to and from Wimbledon.

The Little Schoolhouse can give you a flavor of school back in the one room schoolhouse era. Come and check it out!

The Historic Methodist Church building houses many collections of historic items which will bring back memories from years gone by. These are the artifacts of what life was like in a farming community in the eastern region of North Dakota from the homestead years up until now!

Last but not least for you historic buffs is the machinery building which houses antique tractors, fire trucks, and other vehicles which farmers used throughout the years.

Come and experience what it was like in those early years of North Dakota history.
