Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain (1884)
Set sail down the Mississippi River with Huck Finn and Jim in a story of adventure, friendship, and freedom. Along the way, encounter colorful characters, unexpected dangers, and difficult choices.
Join us on the first Saturday of every month for Reading on the Frontier, a book club exploring the titles commonly found in late 19th-century military post libraries. Each session places the selected work in its historical context, examining why it may have circulated at Fort Buford and what it reveals about the social and cultural life of a 19th-century military post.
If you have any questions please call the Missouri-Yellowstone Confluence Interpretive Center at (701) 572-9034, or email Nicholas Kusnierek at [email protected]
