Escape the chill of the North Dakota winter with an afternoon of friendly competition, laughter, and history from 1 to 4 p.m. on select Wednesdays and Fridays in December at the Missouri–Yellowstone Confluence Interpretive Center near Williston.
- Wednesdays: Dec. 3, 10, and 17
- Fridays: Dec. 5, 12, 19, and 26
Enjoy cocoa, coffee and good company while playing your way through history, from cribbage to Catan. During this free program, visitors can explore the center’s collection of educational and historical board games for all ages, from toddlers to adults, or bring their own favorites to share.
This free family-friendly event is part of the ND250 commemoration celebrating our country’s 250th birthday.
Fort Buford State Historic Site and the Missouri-Yellowstone Confluence Interpretive Center are managed by the State Historical Society of North Dakota. The Missouri-Yellowstone Confluence Interpretive Center is open Tuesday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and closed Sunday and Monday. Fort Buford is closed for the season.
