Get In Contact
Celebrate the harvest season during the Confluence Fall Festival, on Saturday, Oct. 24, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the Missouri-Yellowstone Confluence Interpretive Center near Williston. This free, family-friendly program is open to all ages.
Inspired by old-fashioned fairs and community gatherings of the 1800s, visitors can enjoy Victorian-era carnival games, croquet, lawn bowling, light refreshments, and hands-on activities reflecting amusements common on the frontier.
At 1 p.m., the site will host its inaugural Confluence Frontier Field Day Games. Guests can compete in classic activities such as sack races, three-legged races, egg-and-spoon races, and a frontier-inspired greased pig challenge.
Close out the day with a performance by The Flea Bitten Tramps, a North Dakota folk band, in the rotunda from 3 to 4 p.m.
This event is part of the ND250 commemoration celebrating our country’s 250th birthday.
