The Tipi Trail

This 1-mile-long hiking trail overlooks Lake Sakakawea and begins and ends at Whitetail Bay (Lund's Landing). There are 12 interpretative plaques that provide context and background information about the areas Native American Culture, Lewis and Clark Expedition, North Dakota Pioneers as well as birding and fishing opportunities in the area. The trail also includes five (5) picnic sites and a pair of viewing scopes for adults and children.
