Blacktail Dam
The park at Blacktail Dam is located about 25 miles north of Williston and offers camping, picnic areas, and boating. There is also a Par 3 9 hole golf course located on the north side of the park. Newly renovated areas of the park now include group camping sites, comfort stations, a lawnchair amphitheater, and RV sites with electric/water hookups.
Construction at Blacktail Dam, as part of the Parks Master Plan implementation effort began in May 2025, and will continue through 2026. The majority of the park will reopen for the 2026 camping season. On-site signage will provide guidance as construction progresses.
