Village Trail

This is a flat, kid-and-dog-friendly gravel trail that highlights a recreated, fully furnished Hidatsa Native American earth lodge. Across the lodge, there's a garden showcasing traditional Hidatsa veggies. The trail becomes a walk past 2 former villages. At the turnaround point, there's a short staircase that leads to a peaceful riverside walk along the Knife River, which is slightly overgrown but manageable.
