Wolf Creek Campground and Recreation Area

Large US Army Corps of Engineers primitive campground on the shores of Lake Sakakawea. There are several campsites located on the water. Campground is 100% reserveable by calling 1-877-444-6777 or going online at www.recreation.gov. walk-up campsites may be available if reservations are not made for sites. When you arrive can call or go online to make a same-day reservation and pay for available campsites. No group camping permitted, single sites only. Other amenities include a boat ramp, courtesy dock, fish cleaning station, sewer/fill and dump station, restroom vault, picnic tables, grills, and playground. Playground equipment and bathrooms are new in the area. Boating access is located at the campground and Lake Sakakawea offers great walleye, pike, and salmon fishing.
