Portal State Bank Museum
The Portal State Bank building has been placed on the National Register of Historic Places. Museum visits by appointment only by calling Gordon Sjue at 701-339-0033.
Portal State Bank, built circa 1905, is an example of turn-of-the century architecture. The bank went under in 1929 and the bank President hung himself on site. It has been restored to original condition and contains local-area historical information and memorabilia from Portal and the surrounding area.
