Metropolitan Hotel
Originally constructed between 1900 and 1906, the Metropolitan Hotel has historically been home to an old west hotel, post office, barber shop, ball room, local bar and a cafe. In 2021 the building took on new ownership and a multi-year renovation process began. Today, "The Met" is home to three hotel suites (each with their own uniquely cozy atmosphere), The Metro Perk Coffee Shop & Cafe, Nails by Sam Salon, and Morton County News Journal. From an unused building on main street to a "Hidden Gem", the Metropolitan Hotel has become famous for its small-town hospitality and status as a thriving community hub.
