June 7: The Tougher Than Dirt Tour brings IMCA Sport Mods and Hobby Stocks together for a multi-night racing series across North Dakota and Saskatchewan, ending with a stop at Nodak Speedway. Fans can expect fast, gritty, side-by-side dirt-track action as drivers battle through several tracks in just a few days, making it one of the toughest and most exciting racing challenges of the summer.
July 4: Celebrate Independence Day with high-speed excitement at Nodak Speedway! The annual 4th of July Race brings action-packed dirt-track competition to the North Dakota State Fairgrounds as classes like wingless sprints, hobby stocks, sport compacts, slingshots, and sport mods hit the track for a patriotic night of racing. After the checkered flag, fans can stay in their seats for North Dakota’s largest choreographed fireworks show, offering one of the best views in Minot right from the grandstands. July 5: The Dakota Classic Modified Tour is one of the largest and longest-running IMCA-sanctioned racing tours in the nation, bringing elite IMCA Modifieds and Stock Cars to top tracks across North Dakota and Saskatchewan each July. Founded in 1990, the tour features six straight nights of high-intensity racing, including a stop at Nodak Speedway in Minot.
