Beat Beethoven 5K

Can you Beat Beethoven? The mission: Finish the 5K before Beethoven’s 5th Symphony ends! If you cross the finish line before the final note, you’ll officially ‘Beat Beethoven’! Walk, run, or jog to finish the 5K before Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5 ends – about 32 minutes. The music will play throughout the park during the race, creating a one-of-a-kind running experience as you race against the clock…and Beethoven himself. Participants that ‘Beat Beethoven’ will earn a voucher for a FREE concert ticket to the MSO’s 26-27 season (excludes Holiday & live film concerts)! All other finishers will receive a $5 discount voucher toward a ticket. Official Bella+Canvas cotton/poly T-shirt included with registration through June 14th. Day of registration and check in from 4:00-5:15pm at the old band shell at Oak Park. The race will begin at 5:35pm.
Parking is available in Oak Park and across the street in the Premiere Chiropractic lot. Please respect the adjacent business lots. Get ready for a full evening of fun at Oak Park! – Warm-up with live music by Risha Bergstrom at 4pm sponsored by MACA
