Carve Wars

Watch professional chainsaw artists turn Minot trees into larger-than-life works of art during Carve Wars, October 6–10.

Five artists will spend five days creating five large-scale sculptures that will become permanent public art pieces in the Minot community.

Stop by throughout the week to watch the carvings take shape, catch Quick Carve demonstrations on October 8 and 9, then return October 10 to vote for your favorite finished sculpture and bid on smaller chainsaw carvings during the public auction.

Carve Wars takes place at the greenspace on the north end of the Moose Lodge parking lot at 400 9th St. SW.

The event is free and open to the public.
