Join us on Feb 12th & 13th from 6pm-9pm for an Aurora Nights style event at Prairie Sky Breads, indoors, in the main area. Theme is Italy and the Olympics! Participants will eat and play together. It will not be coupley.
Participants will get- 1 personal pan sized pizza *Neapolitan inspired (though we don’t have the right kind of oven to truly call it that.. did you know you can’t even really use that description until someone comes an varifies?.. anyhow! We digress.), 1 drink, and affogato for $35 per person. They will participate as a group in our Olympic games. Champions will be named. Note **The games will be decidedly uncoupley and accessible to older participants who would like to play but may have limited range of motion etc. Accommodations can be made. This is a great opportunity to meet people, make friends, and enjoy a night out! About Aurora Nights:
For centuries, nighttime prairie skies have given way to the beautiful Aurora Borealis. And the prairie’s people have celebrated their arrival as something to look forward to, something magical, something not to be missed. As we envisioned a world where Prairie Sky Breads was open at night, we grabbed on to the idea of the excitement around an aurora. A beautiful light in the darkness, a reason for people to gather. An aurora pops up and people make time and travel to experience something special. Aurora Nights brings together local food producers, emerging chefs, local artisans, and culture bearers to collaboratively provide cultural experiences and opportunities for Minot and the region. Each event is unique and has its own flare, but usually includes the following : family-style folk dinners, curated by emerging chefs, with elements of storytelling. Aurora Nights works to overcome the isolation of local food and arts systems, increase cultural inclusivity, and provides a model for sustainable community-centered gatherings. Using: Local ingredients. Local chefs. Local artists. Investing in & growing our community. We pool our resources and offer up a reason to work collaboratively to grow food, diversify and build our local food culture, celebrate each other, and gather as a community!
