Roosevelt Park Zoo
One of North Dakota’s oldest zoos and a beloved Minot attraction, Roosevelt Park Zoo offers an exciting wildlife experience with over 160 animals representing more than 50 species from around the world. From towering giraffes and majestic lions to playful penguins and elusive Amur leopards, the zoo brings visitors face-to-face with creatures big and small.
Recent upgrades include a state-of-the-art giraffe habitat in the African Plains building, where guests can hand-feed giraffes in a year-round indoor/outdoor space designed for close-up encounters. Seasonal events and engaging exhibits highlight a diverse collection of animals, including African lions, Amur tigers, brown bears, penguins, and the critically endangered Amur leopard. With over 160 animals representing more than 50 species, every visit offers something new to discover.
Open year-round, Roosevelt Park Zoo is a family-friendly destination where adventure, education, and conservation come together in the heart of Minot.
