Roosevelt Park Zoo
One of North Dakota’s oldest zoos and a beloved Minot attraction, Roosevelt Park Zoo offers an up-close wildlife experience featuring animals from around the world. From towering giraffes and majestic lions to playful penguins, curious red pandas, and other unique species, visitors can discover wildlife while learning about conservation and animal care. While the zoo continues to navigate the impacts of the MI-6 and MI-7 flood wall construction, there is always something new to discover. New animals join the Roosevelt Park Zoo family throughout the year, adding to the unique experiences guests can enjoy with each visit. Guests can explore the state-of-the-art, year-round African Plains Building, home to multiple species and a favorite destination for visitors looking to get closer to our giraffes. Guests can enjoy memorable giraffe encounters and learn more about these incredible animals. Open year-round, Roosevelt Park Zoo is a family-friendly destination where education, conservation, and connection with wildlife come together in the heart of Minot.
