North Dakota State Fair

The North Dakota State Fairgrounds in Minot is home to the North Dakota State Fair, the state’s largest annual event, welcoming approximately 350,000 visitors for nine days of concerts, grandstand entertainment, carnival rides, fair food, agriculture, shopping and family fun each July.

Beyond the Fair, the 250+ acre grounds are one of the region’s most versatile event destinations. With arenas, exhibit halls, meeting spaces, a grandstand and racetrack, dragstrip, camping facilities and expansive outdoor areas, the Fairgrounds can accommodate events of nearly any size or type. From rodeos, races, trade shows and festivals to conventions and national gatherings—including recently hosting the Airstream Club International Rally—the Fairgrounds welcomes visitors year-round.

The grounds also feature an inclusive playground and a seasonal fishing pond, adding recreational opportunities for visitors and the community.

Whether you’re here for the excitement of the North Dakota State Fair or another event throughout the year, the North Dakota State Fairgrounds is a destination built to bring people together.
