Union Silos

Union Silos is a public art project transforming the former Farmer’s Union Co-op grain silos at 318 1st Ave NE into North Dakota’s largest mural. Led by internationally recognized artist Guido van Helten, the project is part of his Monuments series, which features large-scale murals rooted in local identity and community storytelling.

The downtown mural uses photography and public engagement to reflect the people and culture of Minot. It aims to create a lasting cultural landmark and attract visitors through its scale, craftsmanship, and connection to the region’s rich history and architectural heritage.
