Citizens Alley
Citizens Alley – A Year-Round Public Plaza in Downtown Minot
Citizens Alley is a year-round gathering space in Minot, North Dakota, designed for live music, events, art, and outdoor recreation. Home to the Levitt AMP Minot Music Series—the only Levitt AMP music series in North Dakota—along with a rotating lineup of markets, pop-ups, and community events, the alley brings consistent energy to downtown throughout the year.
In the warmer months, visitors can enjoy pickleball, basketball, splash play, and open-air events in a walkable downtown setting. In winter, the space transforms into an outdoor skating destination with a temperature-controlled ice rink and ice bumper cars—making it one of the only places in the region to reliably enjoy outdoor ice activities despite changing weather.
The alley is free to visit and features public art installations, flexible gathering spaces, and room to relax or join in. Whether you're planning your trip around a concert or simply exploring downtown Minot, Citizens Alley offers a welcoming place to experience local culture, live events, and outdoor fun in every season. Located in the heart of downtown, it’s an easy stop for visitors looking for things to do in Minot.
