The public is invited to celebrate Medora's "Old Fashioned Cowboy Christmas" Dec. 5 and 6 at Chateau de Morès State Historic Site, Medora. Held in conjunction with events in the Medora community, visitors can participate in a gingerbread competition voting and other activities. All event times are Mountain time.
Friday, Dec. 5
- Vote in the 7th Annual Chateau Gingerbread Competition in person from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. or any time at facebook.com/ChateauDeMores.
- Take part in our weekly Free-form Friday Fun program from1 to 4 p.m. with crafts, art, music, and more.
Saturday, Dec. 6
- Vote in the 7th Annual Chateau Gingerbread Competition in person from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. or any time at facebook.com/ChateauDeMores.
- Enjoy gingerbread cookies, coffee, cider and hot chocolate from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Join in on holiday themed crafts and activities from 1 to 4 p.m.

The Chateau de Morès State Historic Site is managed by the State Historical Society of North Dakota. The Chateau de Morès Interpretive Center is open Tuesday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. MT, and closed Sunday-Monday. The Chateau de Morès home is closed for the season.
