Chateau de Morès SHS hosts Worldwide Spin in Public Day Activities

The Chateau de Morès State Historic Site is celebrating Worldwide Spin in Public Day on Saturday, Sept. 20, with demonstrations and activities from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Interpretive Center. The event is free and open to all ages.
Five spinners from North Dakota will demonstrate traditional techniques using both spinning wheels and drop spindles to make yarn. Visitors will have the opportunity for hands-on experience under their guidance.

The Chateau de Morès Interpretive Center and home are open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Sept. 30. All times listed are Mountain time.
