Manfred Heritage Museum

The Manfred Heritage Museum is open May 1 to September 30, Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. The tiny community of Manfred was placed in the National Register of Historic Places in 2017. The public is warmly welcome to enjoy this authentic settlers' community celebrating rural America! To visit in person, Manfred is in central North Dakota between Harvey and Fessenden on Highway 52. The Manfred Heritage Museum hosts an annual festival featuring a field day for 4th grade students in conjunction with their North Dakota Studies course. For this educational event, the students rotate, in groups, to six stations with presentations on various topics common to the era of the pioneer settlers. The public is welcome to tag along. To accommodate all the schools in the region wishing to attend, field trips will be planned over two days during the week following Labor Day. See Manfred's social media site for updates.

Manfred History and Preservation, Inc. (MHP, Inc.) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization that oversees the operation of the Manfred Heritage Museum.
