The Annual Holiday Lights on Main is a total transformation to Dykshoorn & Heritage Park in Mandan. The lights kick off with a Grand Lighting and Santa’s Arrival on Black Friday and occurs for 45 nights in Downtown Mandan until some days after New Years, it is a delightful blend of Christmas displays, the occasional cup of hot chocolate, firepits, music and is often brought to life each night by a community sponsor. As a hub for community during the Holiday Season, the Holiday Lights appeals to anyone with a sprinkle of Christmas Spirit. Sponsoring this event means more than just supporting a local tradition; it’s an opportunity for businesses to gain visibility through banner displays, media mentions and Holiday Magic, while actively participating in a cherished community highlight.

What to Expect:
  • Dazzling Light Displays - 23 themed displays perfect for pictures and gazing; complimented by lights and miniature displays to fill the atmosphere
  • Themed Nights - Return frequently to experience a sponsor powered night which might include fun activities, food or something else
  • Holiday Shopping - Get your Christmas Tree at the Holiday Lights Tree Shop, powered by the Mandan Lions and visit local businesses on Main Street that embrace the Holiday Charm
  • Christmas Trees of Charity - Visit the Morton Mandan Public Library to see the beautiful Christmas Trees of Charity, each representing and supporting a local cause
  • Walk-Through Winter Wonderland - Get an up-close look at the lights, warm yourself by the fireplaces and meet Santa, grab hot chocolate or find something else on select nights
  • Family-Friendly Atmosphere - Fun for all ages
  • Drive-by Experience - Looking to pass by? Absolutely! The Holiday Lights pair parallel with Main Street, allowing a visit, without feeling the cold.
