The Maddock Community Historical Museum complex is located at 312 1st street in Maddock. There are many displays of artifacts and documents reflective of the history of Maddock and the surrounding area housed in the main museum building. There are additional buildings on the grounds which also contain Museum collections. These include a township hall that was moved on site and houses a country store display, and a one room school house furnished as it was when it was used long ago. A log cabin and a small chapel are located in the city park across from the museum complex. Maddock also has the original Iron works building with most of the original equipment and also the original Standard oil station. Items from all the historical gas stations are on display at the old Standard station. The museum is open during most community events or by appointment.
