Accessible Services

West River Transit, a public transportation system provides origin to destination bus service for all people in the rural area around Bismarck/Mandan; and serves residents of Burleigh, Dunn, Grant, Mclean, Mercer, Morton and Oliver Counties. They offer weekly trips in communities they serve from riders’ door to appointments and shopping in Bismarck and twice monthly to Dickinson for some areas. They offer trips for riders to attractions and events throughout the region, such as trips to Medora and the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library to, group outings, shows, attractions or the State Fair in Minot. They operate accessible vans and buses with wheel chair lifts or ramps. The buses are 14 passenger capacity and vans are 4-6 capacity.
