Riverside Park to Snowmobile Path
This starts as a paved trail and after it crosses Red River over the pedestrian bridge at the northwest, it changes into a dirt or grass trail.
Accessibility: There are 2 designated accessible spaces in the paved parking lot off of North 1st Street at the south end of the trail. Both of them are van-accessible with striped access aisles. The trail surface is paved asphalt, dirt, or grass and typically at least 6 feet wide. The most accessible portion of the trail is the first about 1.1 miles to the pedestrian bridge. The estimated grade for the first about 1.1 miles is gentle (3% or less). This portion of the trail will likely be navigable for most trail goers using wheelchairs/mobility equipment or strollers. After about 1.1 miles on the snowmobile path to the northwest of the pedestrian bridge, all-terrain tires or motorized equipment may be needed for the dirt and grass surface type and steep (8-12%) grade.
