The Outpost

At The Outpost, UND students, faculty, staff, and the general public can rent outdoor adventure equipment for a small fee. It is located in the atrium of the UND Wellness Center.

The Outpost has a variety of outdoor adventure equipment available to rent, such as canoes, kayaks, tents, bikes, ice skates and cross-country skis.

• Equipment rentals can be made during Outpost hours of operation. Rentals must be both paid and picked up in-person by renter.
• You can take the equipment anywhere you would like as long as you can safely secure and transport it. Please be aware of any state and/or local laws regarding equipment, such as boating laws or bike helmet requirements. All equipment should be returned in good condition and clean (no muddy life jackets).
