The trail starts at the trailhead just south of the Guardhouse. This loop offers a family-friendly experience as it winds through both non-native and native grasslands, eventually connecting to the deTrobriand Loop. Along the way, you'll be treated to an overlook of deTrobriand Bay, providing a scenic view of the surrounding area.
