Overlook, Whitetail, North Country Loop
This trail starts at the parking area just east of the Guardhouse. This family-friendly loop promotes health and fitness, providing a pleasant place to bicycle, walk, jog, or cross-country ski during the winter. The route meanders through tree and shrub plantings that support a diverse bird population and features 16 stations equipped with exercise apparatus and posted instructions. Portions of the trail offer scenic views along the eastern shoreline of Lake Sakakawea.
