The Union building where Pixeled Brewing is located has a very historic past when it was first built, workers used hand-pulled elevators to move good floor-to-floor and horse-drawn wagons to deliver freight to rail stations. After years of drinking beer and collecting retro arcades, the founders of Pixeled Brewing Co. decided to add to the growing list of breweries in Fargo.
The Historic Union building was empty for such a long time that it was at risk of being demolished, this was purchased in 2013 and was preserved and updated to become what it is today. In 2018, Pixeled Brewing Co. moved into the commercial side of The Historic Union building which is also filled with business tenants as well as people living in the lofts.
