25th Annual 9/11 Memorial

Join us at the 9/11 Memorial Site on Friday, Sept. 11 for a special memorial event to start at 11 AM. Please be there by 10:30 AM. Gate admission fees to the Garden will be waived until noon on Sept. 11.

This event will start with an initial procession, which will include Honor Guards from U.S. Customs and Border Protection, U.S. Border Patrol, Canadian Border Services Agency, North Dakota Parks & Recreation and United Firefighters of Winnipeg. The Manitoba Emergency Services College in Brandon, MB, will bring an aerial firetruck.

A variety of speakers will bring remarks from both countries with Member of Legislative Assembly David Pankratz serving as emcee. The keynote speaker is Jason Shaw, the Deputy Fire Chief with the City of Winnipeg. Shaw attended the 10^th anniversary program in New York City.

Anthems will be performed by the Bottineau High School Choir. All school districts are invited and should reach out to their respective Customs offices to ensure proper identification requirements.

Following the memorial event, light refreshments will be available, and the cafe and gift shop will also be open.
