Why We Gather
This year’s Gala is a celebration of our richest and earliest history, and a fundraiser for our greatest needs in preservation. In uncertain times, leaders across the United States and Canada saw the value of celebrating our friendship dating all the way back to 1932.
The Civilian Conservation Corps developed the first picnic shelters, hand-dug Lake Udall and constructed the Historic Lodge, which has hosted countless weddings, reunions and anniversaries. The Lodge was built with lumber from Duck Mountain, Manitoba, and stone from fields in nearby North Dakota.
Help us restore the Lodge for future generations while enhancing the overall rental offerings that create lifetime memories and sustainable revenue for our operations.
Theme & AttireFormal Black and Gold – inspired by one of nature’s most beloved pollinators! Celebrating Pollinators, Peace and the Garden We Share, this gala will shimmer with warmth, connection and generosity. This season, our flower beds are designed around the theme of pollinators and all that they bring to the Garden. Have fun and join the buzz while fundraising for a great cause!
