2026 Roughrider Days Fair & Expo

Roughrider Days is the ultimate community celebration on the western edge! Every year, during the weeks leading up to July 4th, Dickinson comes alive with thrilling rodeo events, a crash-tastic demolition derby, live music, a fun-filled carnival, and more—all taking place at the Stark County Fairgrounds. And that's not all! The excitement continues all over the Dickinson area with the fan-favorite Roughrider Days Parade, spectacular fireworks, and many other community events! It’s a western North Dakota tradition that’s been uniting generations, and it’s simply not the 4th of July without it. 

Come for the excitement, stay for the memories— Welcome one and all to the famous Roughrider Days! It's a RODEO and so much more!

Roughrider Days Carnival brings exciting carnival rides and midway fun to the Stark County Fairgrounds & Events Park during the Roughrider Days Fair & Expo in Dickinson.

From thrill rides and spinning favorites to kid-friendly attractions and classic midway games, the carnival offers fun for all ages and is a highlight of the summer celebration. The carnival takes place on the same grounds as the Roughrider Days PRCA Rodeo, making it easy to enjoy both events in one visit.
