TITANIC I The Musical

The Badlands Opera Project's spring performance will be Titanic I The Musical. Make plans to attend one of the performances the weekend of April 9 - 11 at Dickinson State's Dorothy Stickney Auditorium.

Epic and majestic, with moments of heartbreaking intimacy, Titanic the Musical captures the triumph and tragedy of the hopeful passengers aboard the ill-fated “Ship of Dreams.”

Rather than telling a fictionalized tale, the musical examines the real people, conditions, and decisions surrounding the voyage of the RMS Titanic. From the ship’s officers and crew to immigrants seeking a new life and society’s elite, each story weaves together into a powerful portrait of ambition, hope, and humanity. At its core, the central character is the Titanic herself—an engineering marvel whose legacy continues to captivate.
