You enter the center via the Badlands Dinosaur Museum which features 11 full-scale dinosaur skeletons inside and two outside, including fossils skeletons excavated from the area, one of the world's finest Triceratops skulls, skeletal casts and sculptures. Visitors may also view an outstanding mineral collection from locations all over the world, invertebrate fossils and a Rhinoceros and bison excavated from the area. The Center's Joachim Regional Museum tells the story of Dickinson and southwestern North Dakota. The Center also includes the Pioneer Machinery Hall's excellent collection of agricultural equipment and the 12-acre Prairie Outpost Park with five historic and six reproduction buildings.
