Mandan

The Bismarck-Mandan area has welcomed visitors since Lewis and Clark paddled up the Missouri River in 1804. Enjoy nature and fishing, boating, and camping at Harmon Lake Recreation Area, which is located just north of Mandan.

Visit Raging Rivers Waterpark, which offers water slides, a lazy river, and other water attractions for all ages. Learn about the history of the railroads in North Dakota at the North Dakota State Railroad Museum. The museum features exhibits and artifacts related to the railroad industry. Play a round at the Mandan Municipal Golf Course, which offers an 18-hole course with scenic views. Craving a sweet treat? Check out the Copper Dog Cafe, a family atmosphere cafe serving gourmet waffles and custom coffee on Main Street.

Bismarck and Mandan are shining lights of arts, culture, history, and bustle with life, eclectic dining and entertainment venues. There are exciting outdoor activities year-round, and plenty of biking trails on both sides of the river.
