Cross Ranch State Park Cottonwood Loop
The trail starts at the main parking area by the Visitor Center and is accessed from the Matah Trail at the preserve boundary. It winds through the bottomland forest on preserve property and follows an old jeep track that is still used for scientific studies. Hikers are asked not to disturb areas marked with paint or flags, as studies are still in progress. This trail is groomed for skiing.
