School Section and Eramosh Lake Paddle

This paddle takes you on a trip through two lakes that do not allow motorized boats. You'll start in School Section Lake near the Warming House and paddle around that lake. You'll portage approximately 1,000 ft to the larger Eramosh Lake, which changes names to Ross Lake in Canada. On this route, you'll enjoy quiet serenity and a variety of waterfowl and other birds. If you are crossing into Canada from the United States, it is not permitted to set foot on land on the Canada side. If you are renting a paddle craft from the park, you'll need to meet the park rangers at the Warming House to get equipment.
