Wild Outdoor Women

Designed for women ages 16 and older, this popular winter event is the perfect opportunity to learn new outdoor recreation skills or build confidence in activities you already enjoy. Participants can choose from a variety of hands-on experiences, including flyfishing, canoeing, kayaking, archery, Dutch oven cooking, mountain biking, and many other outdoor adventures.

Registration is completed online, where participants purchase tickets for individual sessions and may also add optional meals, event T-shirts, and lodging to customize their weekend experience.

Sessions are typically offered in 2- or 3.5-hour formats, with some activities spanning multiple sessions to provide more in-depth instruction. Whether you're trying an activity for the first time or looking to sharpen your skills, each session offers expert guidance, the opportunity to test a variety of equipment, and plenty of time to connect with fellow outdoor enthusiasts.

Participants are welcome to register for as many sessions as they like. Most WOW events feature 8 to 10 session options, with prices generally ranging from $25 to $35 per session, depending on length. Additional fees may apply for activities requiring specialized instruction or materials.
