1st Annual Bottineau WAGGIN’ TAILS Dog Parade

Sept. 6, 2025 Saturday

Dogs and their Handlers will first assemble and conclude parade in front of the Armory Hall. Contests will be announced and determined at the end of the parade.

• Dogs and Handlers will enjoy complimentary treats.

• All ages are welcome and encouraged to participate.

• Good social behavior is required for all dogs; Handlers will be required to leash and maintain full control of their pet while participating. No pinch collars.

• Owners that have dogs that have passed can participate in the parade. If you wish to parade in memory of your dog carry or wear something picturing your pup.

• Parade will assemble and begin in front of the Armory. Parade starts walking down 6th St. West toward Main St, turning left going north on Main Street until reaching the designated come-round point at a couple blocks and head back to Armory.

• There will be 5 nice awards and includes a plaque to commemorate your win of one of the following categories: Youngest Dog, Oldest Dog, Most Obedient Dog, Dog with the Best Trick, and Dog with Cutest, or funniest Outfit/Costume.

• Scouts will begin uniform as honorary attendants and will have prominence. They may walk alongside the parade while enroute, and they will attend the registration tables. Look for the Scouts to providing insight/assistance to participants as well.
