‘Nature Day’ Spring Exploration

Families are invited to “Nature Day” at the North Dakota Heritage Center & State Museum, Bismarck, on Monday, April 27, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Designed especially for elementary-age children, the free event encourages hands-on exploration and discovery related to the cycles of nature in spring.

Engage with a variety of educational activities throughout the State Museum’s Corridor of History. Stations will feature animal furs and coloration, wildlife tracks, frog life cycles and calls, bird identification, the role of pollinating wildflowers, and tree cookies and rings. This event is presented in partnership with North Dakota’s Gateway to Science and the City of Bismarck Forestry Division. No registration is required, and families are welcome to arrive at any time to participate in as many activities as they choose.
