Add a little extra history to your summer with Bonus Programming Wednesdays at the North Dakota Heritage Center & State Museum in Bismarck. From ancient fossils and archaeological discoveries to music, games and historical technologies, each Wednesday offers a new way to explore the stories that shaped North Dakota.
Programs begin at 9 a.m., noon, and 2 p.m. These free activities are designed for visitors of all ages. Please stop by the east entrance information desk for directions. Some programs are quick drop-in experiences, while others offer a deeper look at a topic or traditional practice. Those marked with an asterisk (*) take place outdoors and are weather dependent.

These programs are part of the ND250 commemoration celebrating our country’s 250th birthday.
