Summer History Camp: Session 1
July 28-30, North Dakota Heritage Center & State Museum, Bismarck

Dig into the history of all things North Dakota during this three-day program led by history educators. Unearth findings like a paleontologist, sort artifacts like an archaeologist, and curate collections like a museum specialist! Along the way, practice trades of the past in authentic ways.

Summer History Camp: Session 2
Aug. 4-6, Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center and Fort Mandan State Historic Site, Washburn

Get ready for an expedition of a lifetime at Fort Mandan during this three-day program led by history educators. Pack for the Lewis and Clark Expedition and begin the journey of learning through hands-on activities related to mapmaking, medical treatments, and trade.

Summer History Camp: Session 3
Aug. 11-13, Bismarck locations

Explore the history of early North Dakota at the ND Heritage & State Museum, chart the changing environment at Camp Hancock, and relive the excitement of early home life at the Former Governors’ Mansion. Each day will be filled with new experiences.
