August Programming at Former Governors' Mansion

The Former Governors' Mansion State Historic Site is offering free weekly activities throughout the summer season to promote learning and fun for adults and children. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Daycares and school groups are encouraged to attend. Cookies and lemonade will be served, unless otherwise noted.
Aug. 5, Tie-Dye Coasters, 2-4 p.m. Tie-dye is a fun way to create colorful designs. Learn the technique and make your own coaster to take home!
Aug. 7, Paint Day, 2-4 p.m. Get ready for some colorful fun experimenting with paint.
Aug. 9, Fibers & Flavors, 1-4 p.m. Fiber craft enthusiasts, bring your crochet, knitting, or preferred fiber craft projects to work on in the ambiance of the Former Governors’ Mansion. Lemonade and cookies will be served.
Aug. 12, Glow Day, 2-4 p.m. The mansion is a glowing place to be! Join us as we do fun activities that will leave you with a glow on your face.

The Former Governors’ Mansion, 320 East Ave. B, Bismarck, is managed by the State Historical Society of North Dakota. Admission is free. The site will be open daily 9 a.m.-5 p.m. through Sept. 1.
