The Former Governors' Mansion State Historic Site welcomes singer Kaitlin Collins on Thursday, July 4, from 2 to 3 p.m. to celebrate “Watermelon and Music.” This free outdoor event is open to all ages. Complimentary slices of watermelon and lemonade will be available from noon to 4 p.m.

Collins, active in the Bismarck theatre community and a recent theatre performance graduate, will perform a selection of pop and country favorites. Seating will be available. In the event of bad weather, the performance will take place inside the mansion.

The Former Governors’ Mansion, 320 East Ave. B, Bismarck, is managed by the State Historical Society of North Dakota. Admission is free.
