5 Sites on the Chan SanSan Scenic Backway
Located in the south central area of North Dakota, this stretch of roadway bisects LaMoure County, beginning at State Highway 46 and running south to the county line, taking you through Adrian, Dickey, Grand Rapids and LaMoure.
This Double Pony Truss Bridge was restored because of its rarity and an interpretive sign on the site offers a glimpse of early life in LaMoure County.

Built in 1914 and used on the James River for some time, this paddleboat was restored in 1971 and now rests near the James River along with a deactivated Minuteman missile similar to those in silos on the Northern Plains during the Cold War.
