This trail begins at the Chalet Trailhead. You'll travel through open prairies and woods. This route also features that park's oxbow wetlands. You'll even get to cross the wetlands on a boardwalk. There is a wildlife viewing blind for checking out birds, turtles, and other wildlife living in the oxbow.
