The trail starts at the main parking area of the West Side Trails and loops along the lakeshore, hugging the Canada and United States border. Open to hiking, biking, skiing, and snowshoeing, the trail winds through forest, grassland, and wetland habitats. Keep an eye out for moose, deer, pine martens, ruffed grouse, and diverse plant life.
